Rosemary Grapefruit Spritz

A Rosemary Grapefruit Cocktail sits on a black and white tablecloth.

Rosemary Grapefruit Spritz (Light, Herbal & Refreshing)

Bright citrus meets aromatic rosemary in this simple sparkling drink that’s refreshing without being overly sweet. Made with homemade rosemary simple syrup, fresh grapefruit juice, and sparkling water, this spritz is the perfect balance of herbal depth and citrus brightness.

Unlike lemonade-style drinks that lean heavily on sweetness, this grapefruit spritz is designed to be lighter and more effervescent. The rosemary adds a subtle pine-like note that pairs beautifully with grapefruit’s natural tartness, while the sparkling water keeps it crisp and refreshing.

Perfect for afternoon pick-me-ups, spring and summer gatherings, a non-alcoholic cocktail option, and a base for adding gin or vodka if desired

And the best part? You can easily adjust the sweetness to your taste.

Make It Your Own

This recipe is intentionally balanced to be light and refreshing, but it can easily be tweaked:
  • Prefer it sweeter? Add an extra ½ ounce of rosemary syrup.
  • Want it more tart? Increase the grapefruit juice slightly.
  • Like it extra bubbly? Add more sparkling water.
Use this as your baseline, then adjust to your taste.
