Rosemary Simple Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2–3 fresh rosemary sprigs (or 2 tsp dried rosemary)
Instructions:
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat.
  2. Stir occasionally until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  3. Add the rosemary sprigs, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 5–10 minutes. For a stronger syrup, simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and let the syrup cool completely with the rosemary still in the syrup.
  5. Remove the rosemary sprigs (or strain out dried rosemary) and transfer the syrup to a clean jar or bottle.
  6. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
